Chavannes Jean-Baptiste (national leader and founder of Haiti’s largest and oldest peasant movement) speaking at a gathering of peasants in Hinche, Haiti.

Come out and hear eyewitness accounts and see pictures of the devastation made by the hurricane and tropical storms in the Haitian countryside. We will also discuss the Haitian peasant's movement programs and efforts to reduce the loss of life and property and their efforts to rebuild stronger and better communities.
